I’m Norah.

This corner is not about the educator in me.

Not the brand.

Not the business.

 

It’s only about the artist..

 

The part of me that believes artistry is, at its core, storytelling.

 

I remember when I was in France this Jan 2026, how deeply moved I was standing at Van Gogh’s tomb - more than when I stood in front of his paintings. It reminded me that we often admire the work and forget the life behind it. The breath, the doubt, the solitude, the courage it took for that person to exist as they were.

 

Sometimes, as artists, we hide behind what we create.

We let the work speak so we don’t have to.

 

My work lives under the name Lash Herosia - Hero from Asia. It reflects where I come from, and a belief I carry closely: becoming your own hero isn’t something you’re born into. It’s something you grow into, over many versions of yourself.

 

Many creators who grew up with the internet understand this duality - there is the gift of being witnessed, and braided into it, almost invisibly, is pressure.

 

To create for connection is one of the great honors of my life.

 

But when connection becomes tethered to constant production, something changes.

 

Creation begins to move outward. It takes on a different texture.

 

There is a quiet erosion when beauty appears and your first instinct is to translate it, package it, post it. When moments no longer get to simply be moments. When the art you once made instinctively starts carrying expectation - even if that expectation comes from within.

 

So I’m trying to disrupt that pattern in myself.

 

I wanted to remember what it feels like to experience life without alchemizing it in real time. To witness beauty without rushing to turn it into language. To let a moment stay a moment.

 

What I’ve learned - perhaps what I most needed to remember - is that the greatest work does not come from constant pressure.

 

It comes when you soften your grip.

When you stop performing and start listening.

When you allow yourself to be a vessel rather than a machine.

 

This is how I want to create,

This is how I want to build, to train, to connect, to live.

This is the story I am choosing to write.

 

The Trainer’s Path - my first book- is in the process.

 

This space isn’t here to impress. It’s here to reflect who I am - someone still learning, still changing, still becoming. And that feels enough.

 

I hope we cross paths in real life one day.
